Search and message
Do I need an account to search?
No. Searching, viewing listings and messaging on WhatsApp is free, no sign-up. You only need an account to recommend someone, report a listing or manage your own.
Is there anyone in my city?
Indicaí grows through the community. Search your city and look at the map: whoever is already there shows up. If nobody is yet, your region is waiting for someone to open the door, and it could be you: become an Indicaí ambassador, invite the providers you already use and trust, and we'll help with whatever you need.
What is the showcase at the top of the site?
It's the highlight at the top of the home page. It changes every day and shows professionals from your region first, then from other places. Nobody pays to be there: every listing gets its turn, each new listing gets a debut day, and those with the QI badge show up more often.
What do “Limited availability” and “Waitlist” mean?
It's the provider themselves saying whether their calendar is open right now. It helps you avoid knocking on a closed door.
See prices and order
What is "See prices and order"?
It's the button with the professional's services and prices, inside the listing. You check what you want, see the estimated total, say where and when, and a ready-made order goes to the person's WhatsApp. Indicaí doesn't keep the order and charges nothing.
Do I pay anything to Indicaí?
No. Searching, messaging and ordering are free. You agree on price, payment and timing directly with the professional, on WhatsApp.
Recommending and the QI badge
What is the QI badge?
When 5 different people recommend the same professional, they earn the QI badge, shown on the listing and in search. You can see who recommended them, with name and month. The badge is never for sale: it's only earned through recommendations.
How do I vouch for someone?
Open their profile, tap Vouch and, if you like, add your name and a sentence about what they did for you. If they aren't on Indicaí yet, tap "Recommend someone" on the home page and we take it from there.
Do people who vouch appear with their name?
Only those who typed a name when vouching, always as first name and initial, like Carla M. Those who didn't appear as an anonymous vouch, and it counts the same. You can change it later under My listing → Recommendations you made.
QIzinho
What is QIzinho?
It's Indicaí's assistant. It answers questions about the site and finds professionals for you, in the same order as Search. Tap the little green face in the corner of the screen, or Ask QIzinho.
Does QIzinho keep what I ask?
Only the question, with no name or phone, so we can see what the community looks for and bring more professionals. The conversation stays only in that browser tab.
Safety
I found a fake or problematic listing
Use the Report button on the listing itself. We review it, usually the same day, and can suspend or remove it.
Does Indicaí guarantee the services?
No. Indicaí introduces people. The work, the price and the agreement are between you and the provider. Read our Legal Notice and Terms of Use.
The app
Is there an app?
The Indicaí app is coming soon for iPhone and Android. Once it's out, just tap and download. Meanwhile, open indicai.us on your phone and tap “Add to Home Screen”: it works like an app.
How do I add "See prices and order" to my listing?
Attach your price list (PDF or photo) under Files in your listing and save. We read it and build the button for you. Then just check the prices, turn off what you don't want to show, and publish.
How do I list my service?
Tap "List my service/event", create an account with your email and fill in the listing. It takes about two minutes and goes live immediately, no approval queue.
Do I need a vouch to join?
No. You create your listing and it's visible right away. Vouches come later, from your clients, and they are what earn the badge: with five different people vouching, it appears.
Do I need a license, an LLC or documents?
We ask for no documents, no license and no registered company. And we publish nobody's status. Indicaí shows what the community says about your work, nothing else.
What if I serve several cities, or only online?
Check "Serves online" on your listing and you show up in every search, from any city. If you serve one area, pick the radius (5 to 100 miles) and show up for people nearby.
I found my business on Indicaí, but I didn't create it. What now?
Some listings were added by Indicaí to help the community find you, always marked "The owner hasn't confirmed this information yet". Message us on WhatsApp: we transfer the listing to you or fix anything that needs it. If you'd rather not be listed, just ask and we take it down.
How does my listing show up in the showcase?
Every listing gets its turn, for free. When yours is new, it gets a debut day. After that, the showcase shows people from the viewer's region first, and listings with the QI badge show up more often. That's why asking your clients for recommendations pays off.
Can I ask my clients to vouch for me?
Yes, and you should. My listing has an “Ask for a recommendation on WhatsApp” button: it opens the chat with the message and your link ready. You just pick who to send it to.
Do I need to keep updating my listing?
No. Your Indicaí listing is a storefront window, not another social network to feed. People who find you here go straight to your WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook or website. Keep running your social media as usual; Indicaí just helps people find you. Only come back when something changes: a new phone, "limited availability", a new photo. It takes a minute.
I'm traveling or fully booked. Can I pause?
Yes. In My listing → Edit, under “Your schedule right now”, choose “Pause my listing” and say until when: 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month or until you reactivate. It leaves search and the showcase and comes back on its own on the chosen day. Photos, recommendations and the QI badge are kept.
Is it free? Will it become a subscription?
The Cafezinho is free forever, no commission and no fee per client. The Pão de queijo and the Feijoada are optional monthly plans with extra tools, no commitment. Listings created before October 16 have everything in the plans free until January 4. No plan changes the QI badge or the search order.
Are my phone and address public?
Only what you choose. You can appear with WhatsApp only, and show your area instead of an exact address. People who work from home usually show just the neighborhood or the city.
